Sydney (Kingsford Smith) Airport is an international airport in Sydney, Australia located 8 km south of Sydney city centre, in the suburb of Mascot. It is the primary airport serving Sydney. Sydney Airport is one of the world's longest continuously operated commercial airports and the busiest airport in Australia.

The airport is well connected with the city by metro, train, bus, and taxi:
  • Train from Airport to UTS:Airport Link offers a fast and convenient way to reach the city and suburbs, with trains running approximately every 10 minutes. The station is located at the northern end of the terminal and accessible from the Arrivals level. To use this service, an Opal Card can be purchased from the station, Relay or WH Smith. UTS campus is 300 walk from the Central station. Train ticket price from Airport to Central Station is $17.26 (peak) and $16.22 (off-peak).
  • Taxi from Airport to UTS:You can access taxis and rideshare services when you arrive. The Sydney CBD is a short, 20 minute ride away and will cost about $45-$55 one way. The taxi ranks at the front of all terminals - simply follow the signs to the nearest ranks. Uber pickup is available – follow the instructions in the Uber App on arrival.
  • Bus from Airport to UTS:Sydney Buses operates a timetabled service, Route 400, between Bondi Junction and Burwood. The service stops at both the T1 International and T3 Domestic terminals. The marked bus stops are located on the arrivals level outside each of these terminals. To use this service, an Opal Card can be purchased from the station, Relay or WH Smith.
  • Rental Car from Airport to UTS:Sydney Airport has several car rental companies located at the arrivals level at T1 International terminal. Search and compare the best deals from quality rental car providers like Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Budget, Thrifty and Redspot.
