Welcome to BPM 2018

BPM 2018 is the 16th conference in a series that provides the most prestigious forum for researchers and practitioners in the field of Business Process Management.

Over the past decade, the conference has built its reputation by showcasing leading-edge research of the highest quality together with talks, tutorials and discussions by the most renown thought leaders and innovators in the field. The BPM conference series embraces the diversity and richness of the BPM field and serves as a melting pot for experts from a mix of disciplines including Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, and Management.

To accommodate for the diversity, the BPM conference in 2018 introduces a new structure, based on three tracks that cover different research methods and which employs different evaluation criteria:

  • Track I: Foundations
  • Track II: Engineering
  • Track III: Management

BPM 2018 - organized by the Service Oriented Computing (SOC) Research Group, School of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of New South Wales in collaboration with research groups in the areas of SOC and BPM at Macquarie University, University Technology Sydney (UTS) and the Service Science Society - will take place in Sydney, Australia (venue details). Sydney is the state capital of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia and Oceania, best known for its harbour front Sydney Opera House; considered as the most beautiful harbour in the world. Sydney is classified as an Alpha+ World City by Globalization and World Cities Research Network, indicating its influence in the region and throughout the world.
